Here is a tutorial for simple slanted nail tips. Choose first the nail polish you want to use on the whole nail. I used OPI's "Sheer" Your Toys. It can be any nail polish you want, but if it has really good coverage you can't use really sheer polish on tips or the polish on tips won't cover the polish on the whole nail. If you choose a lighter or sheer polish on the whole nail, the polish on tips can be more sheer as well. I already had OPI's "Sheer" My Toys on my nails so I left it on and used it as a base.

Man Glaze Fuggen UglyValitse sitten kynsilakka, jota haluat käyttää vinoon kärkilakkaukseen. Apply nail polish to the tip. I apply the polish to the direction shown in the photo as I find it the easiest to start from the wider side and move to the thinner side of the slanted tip.
Jos kynnen kärki ei peity lakkaan kokonaan (kuten edellisen kohdan kuvasta näkyy, itselläni jäi reunaan vielä lakaton alue), vedä toisella siveltimen vedolla lakkaa lopullekin kärjen alueelle. Jos kärkilakkaus ei ole ensimmäisen lakkakerroksen jälkeen tarpeeksi peittävä, anna sen kuivua hetki ja lisää sitten seuraava kerros. Toista niin monta kertaa, että saavutat halutun peittävyyden.
If the tip isn't fully covered with the second polish yet, make another brush stroke in order to cover the rest of the tip. As you can see from the photo in the previous phase, I had to add some polish to the corner of the tip. If the tip polish hasn't covered the polish on the whole nail well enough after this first coat, let the polish dry a while and add a second coat. Repeat until you have the result you want.
